My Wonderful Stay at CHI
This has been one of the best things I’ve done in my life.
The subject of health is not a scary, mystical thing anymore. I’ve gained a confidence and hope that real health is possible. I found out that there is a good practical diet, not a fad diet, but one that is simple, and natural for the body. I’ve seen the excitement in myself and others as we found out that raw food can be delicious and varied…not just salads.
I’ve seen results in myself and others and heard their personal success stories. A simple example of my own is that my bowels are working properly for the 1st time in my adult life and I need less sleep. Also, I lost 20 lbs. in 8 weeks. I didn’t think that was necessary but…my body did. I’m back to the weight I had 38 years ago when I was 20 years old.
All that I have learned and experienced here I will remember and be able to use and teach for the rest of my life.

I Feel Much Better Now
The thing I enjoyed most, were the people. In this running, cold world this experience is like finding a gem. Their smiles wore like sunshine through clouds. They care for each other and are very friendly to one another.

Obesity, Tiredness and Pain
I came to Creative Health Institute with obesity, chronic leg pains, frequent lower back pain, tiredness, no ambition for exercise or activity. I have lost 12 pounds, the pain in my legs is gone and I’ve been biking daily since I came to C.H.I.
I am looking forward to continuing this way of life when I return home. My experience at C.H.I. has been rewarding because of the wonderful program offered. It’s a win-win opportunity.

My Story
After several years of unsuccessfully attempting to get pregnant, I was diagnosed with chronic endometriosis in the Spring of 1998. As you know, endometriosis is a disorder of the female reproductive organs which usually prevents the person from becoming pregnant. I was also told that without hormonal drug treatment I would probably never get pregnant and would eventually probably have to receive a hysterectomy. Needless to say I was scared.
I landed at Creative Health in June of 1998 to do the 2-week program and to become a student/energy exchange staff for the remainder of the summer. I came to the program overweight, exhausted, moody, depressed, and worst of all to me…infertile.
After 3 days of doing the program a remarkable thing happened. To my surprise after just days on the program, the severe menstrual cramps that I had endured for years were GONE! That was enough for me to open my eyes, wake up and really start doing the program.
Once I got on and stayed on the program it was smooth sailin’…REALLY! By the time I had finished my 3 month stint I was drinking somewhere in the neighborhood of 12-14 ounces of wheatgrass a day, zoomin’ around the kitchen preparing food, exercising more than I had in months and practically had a permanent smile on my face. I had also lost about 35 pounds and looked like a completely different person. I was feeling so good, now I didn’t want to go back home!
I did go home though and I am ecstatic to report that just 5 months after returning from Creative Health Institute, my husband and I became pregnant with our first child. I’m proud to say that on October 18, 1999 our daughter came into this world healthy, happy and full of life.
I’m here to say NEVER GIVE UP! No matter what anyone tells you – DON’T! Just do the program. You can do it, whatever your health challenge is. And the good news is you have lots of wonderful people to help you along the way!

Pituitary Adenoma
I have noticed weight loss. I’ve gained strength in my legs. I seem to have more energy. Not sure how that will be when I get back to my daily routine. I’m hopeful. My mindset has changed for the better. I thought I needed a cola in the afternoon to keep going. I know now, I don’t. If I feed my body right and listen to its needs I’ll be just fine. I can think more clearly…I can do whatever I set my mind to.
I have been given the tools here at Creative Health Institute to go home and live a healthy lifestyle. It’s my choice and I choose to be healthy.
